Orders may be placed to purchase items shown & advertised on our website. Checking & correcting any order placed may be made at point of the ‘Submit’ button when the order is finally checked. Orders are usually sent the same day, but delays may occur at the height of the season or if an item is out of stock.If an item is out of stock or not available for other reasons, we will send what is available and you will not incur additional delivery charges as a result.There may be additional charges for some heavy or bulky items destined for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Man or other off-shore Islands which form part of the United KingdomGlass Jars are sent at the consignees own risk. Neither we or the Carrier can accept responsibility for any breakages.Carriers
Orders weighing less than 2kg are usually sent by Royal Mail. Orders in excess of 2kg are sent by Courier on a next business day service. Larger orders may be sent by a pallet service.On receipt of your order, please check the content carefully. Also, please ensure that when asked to sign a receipt by the Courier, make sure you sign ‘Not Examined’. We cannot guarantee to accept responsibility or to replace damaged goods unless this is done.
Any shortage or breakage must be reported within 3 days.Orders would normally be sent to the billing address unless an alternative address is requested or specified.
Queens & Bees
Queens are sent 1st class Royal Mail in travel cages. Payment must be made when the order is placed.
Bees are sold either as a Nucleus + mated Queen or as a 1.5kg Package + mated Queen in a suitable non returnable pack. These may only be collected from us and collection is arranged for a Saturday unless otherwise agreed. We will not under any circumstances send Nucleus or Packages either by Post or Courier. When pre orders for Nucleus or Packages are placed, we take a non refundable deposit of 50%. We will contact you a minimum of one week before your order is ready for collection.
Returns & Refunds
Goods may be returned by prior agreement. A full refund or exchange may be made within 10 days of the original delivery, provided they are undamaged and proof if purchase if necessary is provided. Gift Vouchers may be exchanged for goods but otherwise are non refundable. Delivery charges will not be reimbursed unless they were found to be faulty or incorrect.
We are unable to refund or exchange Personalised Labels if they have been approved
Any customer information that has been submitted to us including email addresses, telephone numbers, addresses and any other such information will not be distributed or shared with third parties. If placing an order for delivery online and manually accept our terms in the process, we shall submit your information to the courier company to allow them to deliver your order and notify you via SMS or E-mail with delivery updates and notifications. If placing an order verbally we shall advise you of these terms at the time. 24/05/17 – Our current courier company is DPD and DPD Local.
