Apifonda is a useful premade fondant for bees. The 2.5kg pack is ideal for use with our 1 or 2 ltr feeders to bring on or maintain your bees.
Neopoll is a pollen enriched fondant designed to give the bees a boost. Ideal for winter feed or for bringing on a nucleus, this useful 1kg package will kick start a colony or help them get through the winter months.

A high quality Ashforth Feeder. Available in National, WBC, Langstroth
Our New 1 and 2 ltr feeders are now designed to fit under the roof of a hive and so not require another piece of equipment. The round entrance into the feeder fits over a porter bee escape hole on a crownboard while the plastic cover over the feeding section allows the beekeeper to refill the feeder whithout the bees escaping through the roof. Made of strong plastic with a clear plastic lid these are ideal for all beekeepers. Available in 1 litre and 2 liter sizes.

This is the classic British Beekeepers hive. Due to modern queens being more prolific the 14 x 12 brood body is increasingly popular thus avoiding the need for brood and a half or double brood. Existing standard national hived can be converted to a 14 x 12 with a simple Eke. Top bee space option available. Alternatively, the Hamilton Convertor will convert the brood body to 10 commercial deep frames. |

The Commercial hive gives another choice to the British beekeeper. Not quite as popular as the National or Langstroth but still a quality, sturdy beehive. Open mesh floor for the national hive. The open mesh floor greatly reduces varroa within a colony through the mite dropping out the bottom of the hive. The removable wooden sheet on the base allow the floor to be used when it becomes colder without the need to change to a standard floor.

The metal insulated roof, which is included, helps keep the bees warm over winter whilst ventilation maintains a cooler temperature during the summer months.
